my work is a continious development of my ability to capture and reproduce a theme in a dynamic mix of spontaneity and control - my style has developed over the years from traditional roots, where i have concentrated on still life and landscapes in both oil and watercolour, to the point where my more contemporary work involves a multi-media reinterpretation of classical themes - in much of my work I have set out to combine the traditional and the abstract and have created a series of impressions through expressive experimentation
